Today, we hear the noise of the electric generator for the cookstove,
the sounds of cars coming and going,
the vacuum from the truck pumping out the latrines,
and the sounds of the chain saw that chops up the wood.
Feel the spirits, though.
For they are here.
They are coming.
They are coming from the West, they are coming.
They are coming from the North, they are coming.
They are coming from the East, they are coming.
They are coming from the South, they are coming.
They are coming from the Sky and the Earth.
They are coming from within each of us for each other.
Spirits are coming.
When they come, the signs of the times disappear.
