A brief review of the Autonomic Nervous System and the concept of Parasympathetic Rebound. Similarity of autonomic activity in these three different processes will be explored. Using a model of pathology as good processes "gone wild", we will examine how this sequential phenomena (para. rebound) occurs in healthy and in pathological ways. How problems with autonomic regulation effect these experiences will also be reviewed along with recommendations for addressing autonomic regulation weaknesses.
