WaveRider 2cx is a complete neurofeedback and biofeedback system. Hardware, software, and all accessories are included. WaveRider 2cx hardware has two low-noise multi-use channels and a single dedicated channel of GSR to read skin resistance. Each multi-use channel can be individually configured (through software) to read brain, heart, or muscle signals.
WaveRider 2cx comes with WaveWare Windows software.
WaveWare converts biological signals from the brain, heart, muscles and skin, into real-time music, tones, graphs, bars, and spectrograms.
Data can be stored, exported and replayed. Popular protocols such as alpha, alpha-theta, smr-theta, beta-theta, coherence, and dominant frequency are included.
Included protocols can be modified and extended to suit the requirements of each user.
Custom protocols can be developed in minutes by choosing options in the point-and-click dialog boxes.
MindPeak customer support is always available to help customers get their equipment installed and their initial protocols developed.
Several other neurofeedback and biofeedback software packages work with the WaveRider, including Bioexplorer.
The battery operated device is optically isolated from the computer. It connects to a computer's USB port through a cable (included). Silver electrodes connect the head to the WaveRider 2cx hardware.

Please note that WaveWare software included with WaveRider 2cx does not run "native' on Windows 7, but will run in Windows 7 using XP Mode.
XP mode is a free download that works with Virtual PC.
XP Mode requires Windows 7 Professional.
Windows Home Premium may be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional by purchasing a code that unlocks Windows 7 Professional. Windows 7 Professional is already resident on the computer, it just needs to be unlocked.
