Töres Theorell is Scientific counselor with Stockholm University Stress Research Institute. He is an emeritus Professor in Psychosocial Environmental Medicine, especially Occupational Medicine at the Carolinska institute. He was director of Sweden's National Institute for Psychosocial Factors in Health, under the Swedish Ministry of Healthcare.  www.stressforskning.su.se

Dr. Theorell reported on a series of studies which looked at the effect of training managers and how that training affected employees, in terms of numerous psychosocial factors, stress hormone levels, sick leave and myocardial infarction (MI) risk.

This is a big deal affecting worker risk of death and employer bottom line.
