General psychotherapy practice in
Morristown, NJ. The Center for Psychotherapy and Complementary Health
provides individual adult, child, adolescent, marital, adolescent and family
psychotherapy. Specialize in trauma, stress and pain reduction, behavioral
medicine, school and work issues, and integrative therapies that serve to
promote health and well-being. EMDR, Mind-Body Therapies, Trauma Resolution
therapies, Stress and anger reduction, energy therapies (TFT, EFT);
Orientation: pschodynamic, ego psychology, depth psychology, family systems,
eclectic, integrative, holistic. Supervisor for new psychologists. Forensic
evaluations available for: licensing issues, post traumatic stress
disorder, clergy sexual abuse, teacher sexual abuse, sexual trauma and
assault.

Volunteer
psychologist with both agencies working with clients who are seeking asylum
in the U.S. and who claim torture. Conduct psychological evaluations, write
legal affidavits and provide expert testimony when needed. The
responsibilities also include an intense study of the political, cultural,
social conditions, torture and detention methods, and human rights issues of
the countries that our clients come from. Primary mental health issues:
PTSD, depression, stress, anxiety and dissociation. Mentor new
psychologists and now providing national training.
CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PRESENT but not active, UMDNJ-NEWARK
DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE, DIRECTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM: PREVENTIVE
CARDIOLOGY PROGRAM, UMDNJ-NEWARK (9-89 to 6-90; 12-92 to 5-2000) .
Behavioral consultant in multi-centered research investigations: Consulted
with the Women's Health Initiative (WHI) research trial, a large, ten year
multi-center center study that is examining the effects of diet and hormone
replacement therapies on breast cancer, osteoporosis and cancer in women.
Involved in behavioral protocol development, case management, close out
procedures and writing groups with the Dietary Intervention Study for
Children (DISC), a longitudinal N.H.L.B.I. study researching the effects of
dietary modification on cholesterol, and growth in children and adolescents.
Responsibilities included developing and directing in-service training
programs and providing ongoing supervision for the non-psychology staff.
Also gave presentations in grand rounds, to medical students and in health
fairs (including EMS staff) on various topics in behavioral medicine and
psychology. Administrative functions include coordination and
recommendations regarding the supervision of departmental staff as well as
development of policies and procedures to ensure smooth and effective
program operation. Developed and implemented the Mind Body Health Lecture
series for patients in the Cardiac Risk Prevention Program at UMDNJ. Also
developed series of stress reduction presentations.

Develop,
research and market fearless products to consumers. The Fearless Dentistry
Program TM is completed and is now being marketed. New Fearless products
including Fearless Flying and Fearless Public Speaking are under
development.
Conference Event Manager and Planner: Meeting Coordinator:
1. Run every detail of the day to day
operations, hire, train and supervise personnel at The Annual Conference on
Brain Functions/EEG, Modification and Training: An Advanced Meeting
Colloquium (l996 to present). Help organize and participate in Intellectual
Exchange Salons for speakers. This annual meeting takes place in Miami or
Palm Springs and is the largest conference on neurofeedback, progressive
psychotherapies and spirituality therapies, FutureHealth Inc.
2. Event Manager for the Story Science Conference held in
Palm Springs in Sept 2002 and 2003. Focus is on developing a science for
story that will help to promote positive conditions for human development.

ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCES
CLINICAL PROVIDER OF ONCOLOGY BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE PROGRAM & GENERAL MIND
BODY PROGRAMS: MORRISTOWN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, MIND/BODY MEDICAL INSTITUTE:
(5-93 to 5-96) : Provided general Mind Body Stress Reduction Programs
(originally designed By Joan Boryosenko, Ph.D. Herbert Benson, MD and the
Mind Body Medical Institute at Deaconnes Hospital, Boston) for individuals
and groups of patients presenting with acute and/or chronic pain, illness
and stress. Also worked with the ‘at-risk’ or ‘worried well’ population. Led
specialty groups for individuals with insomnia and for women with cancer.
Also provided numerous workshops,lectures and training to many groups in the
hospital, and to Fortune 500 corporations. Stress management, lifestyle
enhancement, and integrative therapeutic strategies provided within a
short-term psychotherapy model.
PSYCHOLOGY CLINICAL PROVIDER : SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM,
DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, DOVER, NJ (12-91 to 6-93).
Responsibilities included individual, marital and family therapy with a
multi-cultural clientele. Presenting client concerns were usually of
critical crisis and traumatic. Client challenges included psychosocial
issues related to medical conditions, school failure, the range of mood and
personality disorders, suicidal and homicidal ideation, PTSD, eating
disorders, abuse, conduct disorders, identity issues and substance abuse.
Worked with a multi-disciplinary team where there was many opportunities to
consult on an inter-agency basis.
PREDOCTORAL INTERNSHIP IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (APA APPROVED) UNIVERSITY OF
MARYLAND, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, BALTIMORE, MD. (7-90 to 6-91). Provided individual adult, adolescent,
and child psychotherapy, group and family therapy in the outpatient
behavioral and outpatient psychiatry clinics. Conducted comprehensive
evaluations with individuals with psychological, developmental and
behavioral concerns. On-call consultation for medically-related
psychological issues in E.R., Shock Trauma Unit, and Pediatric Inpatient and
Outpatient Units.
CLINICAL COORDINATOR / AWARDED GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP: PSYCHOLOGICAL CLINIC,
RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, PISCATAWAY, NJ (9-87 to 6-89).
Conducted screening, intake evaluation and crisis intervention with
