#1 1/29/2016 Quantum View of Medicine (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) Medicine needs to be understood in a 'quantum' rather than the 'continuum' way if the observed phenomena in the world of medicine are to be fully accounted for. When a disease understood to be nearly incurable by conventional medicine and is cured by an unexplained alternative medicine, it is usually overlooked or disregarded as an 'exception'. The quantum view of medicine can explain such apparent variations or exceptions.2 2 Comment Count
#2 4/9/2014 Becoming Aware of Mind-Body-Spirit Medicine (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) The development from Era 1 to Era 2 medicine emphasizes that we are not the body alone; we are mind-body entities. Era 3 medicine indicates that we are not confined to our mind-body; we are mind-body-spirit entities. As is the belief, so is the practice. If the physician believed that he was a mind-body-spirit entity, he would suggest the attitude of 'prayerfulness' by those concerned with the patient.
#3 2/16/2012 Three Intelligences and Three Tendencies (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) The serene tendency is the foundation upon which the expansion of the active tendency and the enjoyment of the passive tendency rest. The cause of much of the ill-health found in individuals and society as a whole lies in loss of balance between these three tendencies.
#4 12/19/2011 Are you Autistic? Maybe, but Probably Not. (Tsara Shelton) For the holidays I would love to spread a little understanding and a few autism answers. #5 8/6/2011 Improving the Quality of Health Care from Within (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) The quality of health care would eventually depend on how well the roles of the health care professional, health care facilities, medical advances and medical education are synchronized to supplement and support the central nature of faith and the hidden reality of mind-body-spirit medicine.
#6 11/5/2010 Bliss Feedback Therapy (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) An "associate' of bliss is made use of in meditation. A pitfall in meditation is to start believing this "associate' of bliss as real, pushing the bliss itself to the background.
#7 8/14/2010 Understanding Meditation (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) A simplified understanding of meditation is - it is basically the process of consciously transcending the "apparent self' to reach the "inner self', which is blissful.
#8 7/29/2010 Our Built-in Biofeedback (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) The mechanism of our built-in biofeedback explains why positive thinking works. See good, be good and do good may appear to be a moral advice to lead a happy blissful life, but it has a biological basis.
#9 5/20/2010 The Unlimited Potential of Mind-Body-Spirit Medicine (Vijayaraghavan Padmanabhan) Mind-body-spirit medicine allows the unknown to be tackled by the body's built-in mechanisms. Thus the therapeutic potential of mind-body-spirit medicine is unlimited, while the purely biomedical approach confines itself to limits set by the logical mind.1 1 Comment Count
